You Tube have been announced as one of the big names who will be speaking at the first Mobile and Video in Recruitment Conference on the 28th September.

Mike Taylor of Web Based Recruitment; organiser of the event, said in a press release:

“YouTube has been a major player in the dramatic growth of online video and recently announced that they are now serving a staggering two billion videos a day!”

The event is a must for innovative recruiters who want to utilise these fast growing, powerful marketing channels. The day will cover a range of topics including: The key to successful recruitment videos, case studies from companies utilising mobile and video, and the effect of mobile on recruitment. Mike Taylor, who also organised the highly successful Social Media in Recruitment conference series, said:

Companies are starting to recognise Mobile and Video as a valuable marketing channel but until now there hasn’t been an opportunity for people to learn all about it and see what others have achieved by using it. With the introduction of the Mobile and Video in Recruitment Conference that has now changed which means that forward thinking Recruiters can once again claim a competitive advantage by embracing new technologies, just like they did with Social Media!

The Twitter Hashtag for the event will be #MVIR so make sure you follow the back channel during the day.
